  1. May I say I prefer the tilt mode ? 🙂
Martin, Torben, how about an entry in beta4 for best highscore?

    1. The tilt controls work well for me for about the first 30 seconds of the game, but once the action starts getting intense the movement seems too jerky and imprecise for me. I’ll have to give them a whirl again with this latest build, but typically I prefer the direct touch method with shooters anyway.

      1. As with everything else tilt also require some training to get used to. The good thing of course is that you always have the view of the screen completely free. On another note. I don’t know how you play (also you Kamel), but there are some advantages of pushing fire on your own (rather than using auto-fire). For “getting” the ship that delivers power ups you for example go very close and fire as fast as you can 😉

    2. Yes, tilt has some nice perspectives 🙂 You don’t think my (fake) score of 5,200,000 is high enough? 😉

  2. Hooray! For the first time with this latest beta I felt like I was actually playing the game instead of just dying every few seconds. I just tried out the relative touch control (or whatever you call the one symbolized by the hand in options), but I will give the others a test here real soon. Despite this basically being a port of an old Amiga, game, it really is shaping up to be one of the better shooters that will be available on the App Store (and trust me, I’ve played a lot of shooters).

    1. Great to hear 🙂 We call that control type “direct touch”, and it is definitely the best one in our opinion. We are putting the final touches on BS ONE these days and hope this old Amiga shooter 😉 should be in the App Store very soon…
