This section concerns all crash/disruption issues that you may encounter during your beta-testing. When commenting/reporting, please make it as detailed as possible. 🙂
BUGS
– I seemed to die once despite deploying a missile.
– Auto-fire stops working randomly (I play in touch mode, landscape)
– When manually firing quickly it seems to make the touch stop responding, leading to death.
Graham.
Deploying a missile does not guarantee you won’t be hit. It merely fires a lot of missiles… it is not: “ohh, now I won’t have to worry at all for a couple of seconds” 😉 The issue with the auto-fire was identified a few days ago, and works now. For the third point, this could be related to point 2 (solved now), but not 100% sure 😉
Ahh I misunderstood what the missile does, I thought it destroyed all bullets and then whatever enemies the fireballs came into contact with.
Good job tracking down the bugs 🙂
never palyed it 😉
is it this one?
Hi Alan,
It sure is 🙂 The idea with Hybris is not only to make it available on smartphones but also enhance the play etc. Although no details on the project yet.
Thanks for posting the video 🙂
I’m sure that it was heavily inspired by Terra Cresta no? 🙂
Kamel
Hi Kamel,
There was some inspiration like most of the current arcade trend back then. 🙂 Hybris has got some vivid art the further you get into the levels. One could almost say that in the end levels of Hybris it meets Battle Squadron in terms of weird alien mythos type art 🙂
guys, keep up the good work! 😉
could you add me to some mailing list or so?
so i will not miss anything

inspiration is “Dangar UFo Robo” … with Battle squadron, the best music for a shoot’them up
Hi guys,
>And of course you will have the chance again in a few months time with Hybris for iOS… so stay tuned 🙂
It’s written now, all over google cache so you can’t go back 🙂
Talking about Hybris, why Paul didn’t wrote the muzak for BS?
What is that company “Electric Zoo”? (Discovery Software did publish Hybris, InnerPrise BS)
Kamel
Hi Kamel,
Paul Van Der Valk didn’t want to do music for games after Hybris, at least that was what we were tolded, but through a mutual contact we got Ron Klaren onboard instead for Battle Squadron. Which turned out pretty well as we can hear 🙂
Electric Zoo was at that time an european distribution company. Back in those days it was comon to divide world distribution into regions 🙂

Hi Alan,
The initial beta fase is over and is now in a compliance fase. It will though be available to all in a short while, so hang on in there 🙂
Being a long time retro fan too and also of this game is always very nice to hear and it only makes it even more important for us to revive it. 😉
… And of course you will have the chance again in a few months time with Hybris for iOS… so stay tuned 🙂
